If the goal of UK vs. The World 2 was to correct everything that fans didn’t like about the first iteration, mission accomplished — and then some. By inviting a more genuinely international cast, with gag-worthy queens like Marina Summers and La Grande Dame, the crossover series upped the stakes considerably. These queens weren’t just fighting for the crown (and, for the first time in Drag Race UK herstory, a cash prize), they were fighting for international recognition. And achieve it they did. The season ultimately came down to two Ru Girls in Hannah Conda and Tia Kofi, and in the end, the UK’s hometown queen won out.
