I‘d previously held a negative opinion about Season 3, but rewatching helped me reevaluate. Certainly Drag Race‘s third installment was a memorably messy one, with the Heathers vs. Boogers battle making for one of the starkest rivalries in herstory. But it’s also an exceedingly long season, with 16 episodes and a nearly interminable endgame. Ultimately, the strength of the storytelling and challenges won out — but in a surprise even to me, I walked out wanting someone very unexpected to be the winner.
