After the very draining All Stars 3, Season 10 came along! The first half was such a blast of joy that I found myself invested in the show in a way I hadn’t been in a while. The back half of the season was a significant step down, though — and even knowledge of how it all ended couldn’t help cushion the blow. Season 10 upon rewatch only reinforced my opinion of it: a Frankenstein season that is impossibly good for the first half, only to fall apart in dramatic fashion circa Monique Heart’s elimination. Even Aquaria’s run wasn’t as impressive to me this time around, though there’s no doubt she was the correct winner come the final lip sync.
